Roger Hall - President

I graduated from California State University in Los Angeles in 1966 with a degree in economics and a minor in business education. I then completed the requirements for California teaching credentials at Fullerton State University in 1967. I began my career in education at Ontario High School in Ontario California, teaching business and coaching football. I then moved to Northern California in 1969, where I taught business and coached football and baseball at San Juan High School in the San Juan unified school district. I was an administrator in the same district for thirty years staring in 1974.
I spent eighteen of those thirty years as a district administrator and was over the vocational and work experience programs.
The other twelve years I spent as a vice-principal. I earned a professional secondary administrative credential in 1991. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work closely with At Risk students. It is my opinion that all students can succeed if placed in the right environment and given the right support. I understand the challenges that parents and students face today in our schools and communities.
My wife and I had our share of challenges through raising our six children, discovering that each child is different in their individual grouth and education.
I am exited to be involved in this service and hope to help parents find the resources for students to be successful in their educational needs.

Henry Ayala - Vice President

I was born in Weslaco Texas where I lived for 21 years.
At the age of 21 was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where spent four years stationed in Vandenberg, AFB. I worked as a motion picture photographer in California. After my tour of duty in the Air Force in 1966, I immediately enrolled at Brigham Young University where I earned a Bachelors and Masters degree in Psychology. Upon graduation in 1971, I accepted a position as an elementary school counselor in port Huaneme California where I spent the next three years working with students through the use of Psychometric testing as well as individual and group counseling. In 1974 I accepted a position as a school Psychologist in the Sacramento Unified school district and for the next eighteen years worked assessing students who were referred to me due to learning disabilities as well as behavioral disorders. My main responsibility was to asses referred students to determine qualifications for special programs based on guidelines established by the state of California. I also worked for a year in the San Juan Unified school district in Carmichael California doing essentially the same type of work. Most of the students who qualified for placement received special help within specific programs in the school district.
Others who qualified for more intensive assistance were placed in both county and private schools designed to provide a more structured behavior modification program.
Being a father and loving my children very much, gives me great satisfaction to make myself available to assist parents in their time of need.

I was born in Mexico and after receiving my education, in 1982 migrated to the United States to start a new life. I learned how important family values, love and consistency are in achieve success. Having started a new family of my own and becoming a father of six children, I discovered that dealing with children was not as easy as some people say. Thanks to my wife and dear friends, I was able to deal with the ups and downs that fatherhood brings. I've worked with children in a variety of organizations such as boy scouts and mentoring children in the community and church for over twenty years.
In 2000 I began my mission in working with troubled teens in residential treatment facilities and foster care in the Southern Utah area. Later, I was promoted to oversee and manage a facility of 400 plus students. The privilege of being a parent, providing sevice to youth and parents has been a true joy for me thanks to my wonderful wife and very dear friends who were able to lift me up when I was down. I am still looking for ways to pay back what I was given. I know the rewards and blessings are endless, and I have seen the results of happy families beening reunited by our services.
